Dr. Rahim Sarhangi is an assistant professor in the Department of Economic Governance, Faculty of Governance, University of Tehran, and holds a master’s and doctorate in management from Sharif University of Technology. He defended his thesis on the topic of non-deviation of social organizations from their mission with excellent grades in 1400. Dr. Sarhangi has numerous articles in English and Persian in areas related to social organizations and institutions and the development of non-governmental groups. His areas of interest in research are local governance and development, development planning, development and progress in Iran, governance in practice, and policy formulation and implementation. He also has executive experience at the level of governance in the country in the fields of local and regional development, entrepreneurship and industry, investment development, and free zones.
