Dr. Armin Firouzpour graduated from the University of Tehran in Futures Studies and ranked first in the specialized doctoral exam in 2013. The topic of his thesis was scenario-based visualization of alternative futures of Tehran in the field of urban management and governance; among his most important fields of study and research fields are futures studies, strategic foresight, visualization of the future, scenario-based visualization of alternative futures, urban studies, crisis management, and governance-related topics. Publishing more than ten national and international scientific articles and carrying out numerous study projects in the aforementioned fields are some of his scientific achievements. The article Alternative Futures of Tehran Using a Scenario-Based Approach and translating the book Thinking About the Future: Guidelines for Strategic Foresight is an example of Dr. Firouzpour's works. He is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Futures Studies, Faculty of Governance, University of Tehran.
