Dr. Reza Payandeh is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Governance, University of Tehran. He holds a PhD in Technology Management with a specialization in Innovation Orientation. At the Faculty, he teaches at the master’s and doctoral levels, offering courses such as Theories and Models of Innovation, Intellectual Property Rights, Entrepreneurship, and New Product Development.

His research focuses on social entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence, data ethics, technology law, and theory of change. He has published in leading journals including Policy & Politics, Journal of Consumer Behaviour, and Science & Public Policy (Oxford University Press).

Dr. Payandeh is the proponent of the Ideation Canvas, a methodological tool rooted in his public policy research, which has been widely applied in innovation and entrepreneurship programs. He has also directed and contributed to several large-scale research projects within Iran’s innovation ecosystem. His recent book, Fintech: Fundamentals of Technologies, Business Models, and Governance, was published by University of Tehran Press.
