Dr. Sajjad Abdi, a Ph.D. graduate in Financial and Public Economics from the University of Tehran, has an eleven-year professional background in applied economic research. He has collaborated on economic policy-making with the Research Center of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, the Presidential Center for Progress and Development, the Economic Commission of the Cabinet Office, and the Planning and Budget Organization of Iran. Additionally, for five years, he served as the Director of the Tehran Economic Policy Think Tank and is currently the Deputy Director of the Institute for Governance Study at the University of Tehran. Dr. Abdi's research focuses on sustainable development studies, public economics, and finance, with a particular emphasis on the economics of education. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Development and Sustainability Governance at the Faculty of Governance, University of Tehran.

Dr. Maryam Afkhami is a Ph.D. graduate in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Water Resources Engineering and Management from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Tehran, in 2021. She was a member of the exceptional talents at the Faculty of Civil Engineering. Her doctoral thesis focused on enhancing drought adaptive capacity through modeling social-hydrological systems within a social learning framework, which was defended with an excellent grade. Furthermore, her master's thesis evaluated the performance of distributed and integrated hydrological modeling of water balance, also defended with an excellent grade. Her research areas include water resources governance, socio- hydrology, ecohydrology, hydrodynamics, system dynamics, data science, data mining, machine learning-related topics, and she has published over 20 scientific research articles domestically and internationally in these fields. In addition to proficiency in French and English, Dr. Afkhami has over 15 years of teaching experience in higher education and research and has served as a reviewer for reputable journals and conferences. In the past two years, she has been working as a consultant to the Ministry of Jihad-e-Agriculture in the field of smart agriculture and the ministry's observatory. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Water and Agriculture Governance at the Faculty of Governance. Alongside her professional achievements, Dr. Afkhami also pursues Quranic studies and learning Arabic.

Dr. Sayedeh Alemohammad is an assistant professor in the Faculty of Governance at the University of Tehran. With an MSc in environmental planning, management, and Education and a Ph.D. in Environmental planning (both from the University of Tehran), she possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience in her field. Her bachelor's degree is in natural resource engineering- environment. Her doctoral dissertation focused on "Formulating Ecological-Social Zoning Framework for Protected Areas". Her master's thesis was about "Strategic Environmental Assessment and Policy Making for Sustainable Development". Her research interests cover a broad range of topics, including "governance metrics in the ecological-social landscape", "landscape assessment and Monitoring", "Community Use Zoning", "Participatory Landscape Conservation", "Protected Area Governance", "Environmental resilience and Ecosystem Service", and "Environmental Economics". Dr. Alemohammad is also a dedicated educator, teaching many courses at both the master's and Ph.D. levels. Her course subjects include "Environmental Planning and management", "Cognition of the Environment", "Environmental Impact Assessment", "Land use planning", "Spatial Cognition of the Landscape", "Landscape conservation planning", "Applied Ecology", and "Social-Ecological systems and Resilience". Dr. Sahar Babaei, a graduate in Public Administration (Policy Making) from Allameh Tabataba'i University, MSc in Industrial Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology and BSc in Industrial Engineering from Iran  University of Science and Technology, was awarded the title of Outstanding Graduate by the National Elites Foundation in 2021. Her dissertation, which developed an optimal model for Iran's administrative system based on the mindset of academic and executive experts, was defended with an excellent grade and selected as the best demand-driven dissertation by the Ministry of Science. Her research areas include data-driven governance and smart governance, governance capabilities, governance institutions, policy-making and policy research, administrative reform, system dynamics, and data mining. Dr. Babaei has published over 20 national and international scientific articles in these fields. Among her works are a book titled "Policy Research" and a translated book "Basic Methods in Policy Analysis and Planning" in two volumes. Dr. Mehran Badin Dehesh is a graduate in Systems Management from Shahid Beheshti University. His master's thesis focused on "The Impact of Good Governance on Social Capital," and his doctoral dissertation explored "Designing and Explaining the Organizational Innovation System based on Innovation Ecosystem." Since 2017, he has been engaged in university teaching, with interests in systems thinking, innovation ecosystems, and research methodology. In 2021, he was recognized as the top student researcher at Shahid Beheshti University. Since 2018, he has served as the Educational Affairs Manager of the Iranian Association of System Dynamics, and since 2022, he has been the Executive Manager of the Public Administration Perspective journal. His other roles include membership in the scientific committee of the Second International Conference on Economics and Business Management, secretary of the coordination council for the First National Conference on Knowledge-Based Governance, and a member of the Leadership and Human Capital working group at the Twentieth International Management Conference.  Dr. Mohammad Esmaeil Abdollahi is a Ph.D. graduate in Islamic Mysticism and Sufism from the university and has achieved Level 4 in Islamic Theology and possesses Ijtihad in Jurisprudence and Principles from the Qom Seminary. His doctoral thesis, "A Systematic Approach to Islamic Social Mysticism with an Emphasis on the Mystical Thought of Imam Khomeini," was defended with high distinction. He has received a gold medal in research and technology, has been recognized as a successful seminary student nationally, and has held top ranks in educational courses at both seminary and university levels. Dr. Abdollahi has 20 years of teaching experience in seminary and university centers, 18 years of executive experience in scientific centers, and has been awarded 5 national and 14 provincial and seminary research titles in Iran. He has established several scientific centers, authored 30 research papers, and 10 specialized books in the fields of governance and Islamic social theology. He has received written scientific permissions from scholars of the seminary and licenses for research and teaching in advanced mystical and intellectual sciences from contemporary mystic scholars and philosophers. Notable among his publications are "Self-Made Canopy of Modern Mysticism" and "Comprehensive Research in Sectarian Sufism," which have been published multiple times. His latest work, "Light of Faith and Reason in Governance," discusses strategic planning for the establishment and development of governance schools in Iran. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Culture and Family Governance at the Faculty of Governance at the University of Tehran.

She is recipient of the National Elites Foundation scholarship award in 2015 and She graduated as the top student of her doctoral program with an GPA of 19.10 out of 20. She has been a project executive for the National Elites Foundation on "The Water and Energy Roadmap for Tehran Province," and also collaborator on the national project of "Designing, prototyping and promoting efficient and green Greenhouses, in accordance of countries climatic and ecological condition" and a research collaborator on the "Sugar Cane Harvester Production" project. Her doctoral thesis focused on "Hybrid Solar-Wind RO-MSF Desalination System," which was defended with an excellent grade. She also holds a certificate in Computer Science CS50 from Harvard University. She has been honored with the Shahid Dr. Shahriari Award and the Shahid Dr. Chamran Award from the National Elites Foundation and has completed two postdoctoral fellowships at Sharif University of Technology (for two years) and at Tarbiat Modares University (for three years). She was recognized as the top researcher during her postdoctoral period at Tarbiat Modares University, and her doctoral thesis was nominated as the best thesis. She has published 46 ISI-indexed articles in prestigious international journals, 13 of which have an Impact Factor (IF) of over 10. In 2024, her h-index is 24 on Scopus and 28 on Google Scholar.Dr. Loni has engaged in numerous international collaborations with universities in Greece, France, South Africa, China, the United Kingdom, and Malaysia. Her doctoral dissertation focused on designing a virtue-based organizational ethics model for hospitals of Tehran University of Medical Sciences and Health Services. Dr. Ebrahim Mazari, a Ph.D. graduate in Higher Education Management from the University of Tehran, is a distinguished researcher nationally recognized with a second-place award in the country's general education system. His doctoral and postdoctoral research focused on the self-development of university leaders based on cognitive sciences and neuroscience. His study areas encompass governance in education (including higher education, general education, organizational education, and civic education), human resource governance, and neuro-cognitive governance. Dr. Mazari has been recognized as a top author and researcher in the general education system for five years, with over 18 published books. Additionally, his record includes authoring more than 50 national and international scientific articles and participating as a principal investigator and collaborator in more than 23 research projects. He has conducted over 100 specialized workshops for organizations and collaborated as an organizational consultant in human resource management, particularly focusing on development and improvement with national, local, and regional organizations. Dr. Ali Asghar Pourezzat is a Ph.D. graduate in Public Policy from Tarbiat Modares University in 2004. He is the president and founder of the Faculty of Governance at the University of Tehran. Additionally, he established the Policy and Governance Laboratory at the University of Tehran and is one of the founders of the field of Futures Studies at the University of Tehran. From 2002 to 2007, he was an Assistant Professor, from 2007 to 2012, an Associate Professor, and has been a Full Professor at the Faculty of Management at the University of Tehran since 2012. Dr. Pourezzat has authored over 400 scientific and conference articles and more than 40 books. His educational and research interests include public policy, public administration, governance, futures studies, and social justice, particularly with Islamic and ethical approaches. Dr. Pourezzat is a distinguished professor of public administration and governance, a two-time recipient of the international Farabi Award in Iran in 2007 and 2012, the Dehkhoda Award in 2018, the Cultural Excellence Award in 2024, and was named the top researcher at the University of Tehran in 2023. He is currently the director in charge of the Iranian Journal of Public Administration Studies, continuing his studies in various governance fields.

Dr. Ahmad Radmehr, an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Governance, University of Tehran, holds a Ph.D. in Water Science and Engineering with a focus on Water Resources from the University of Tehran. Distinguished as an outstanding Ph.D. student at the University of Tehran and ranking first in the national master's entrance exam, he brings over 15 years of practical experience in the management and engineering of water resources and environmental systems.
He earned his Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral degrees in Water Resources from the University of Tehran. Dr. Radmehr has focused on conducting applied research related to water resources management. His doctoral dissertation, addressing the need for applied research in local water governance, titled "Providing a Conceptual and Analytical Framework for Sustainable Development Strategies in Agricultural Water Management," was defended with distinction.
His master's thesis, which developed decision support systems for urban flood management as a research project commissioned by the Iran Water Resources Management Company, was also defended with distinction. Dr. Ali Rostamian is a Ph.D. graduate in Entrepreneurship from the University of Tehran. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Economics from Shahid Beheshti University and a Master's degree in Theoretical Economics from both the University of Tehran and Simon Fraser University. After several years of working in the private sector, Dr. Rostamian entered the Ph.D. program in Entrepreneurship at the University of Tehran and defended his dissertation titled "Critical Conceptualization of Entrepreneurial Identity." Dr. Atiye Sarabi Jamab, a PhD graduate in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Control and Modeling of Complex Systems from the University of Tehran, in collaboration with the Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics at Ludwig Maximilian University in Germany. Her doctoral thesis was on "Decision-Making under Uncertainty," and during her PhD, she gained profound knowledge in areas related to cognitive neuroscience. After her PhD, she joined the school of cognitive science at the Institute for Research in Cognitive Sciences (IPM) for a postdoctoral fellowship and began her work in the field of behavioral and neurocognitive decision-making in individual and social contexts. Due to her education in electrical engineering during her PhD and her research activities in cognitive sciences during her postdoctoral and senior postdoctoral periods, she is familiar with the fundamentals of cognitive sciences, social cognition, statistical analyses, behavioral modeling, learning, and artificial intelligence. Prof. Armin Towhidi, a PhD graduate in Animal Science from Tarbiat Modares University, specializes in the governance of agriculture and food security, sustainable development strategies for agriculture and animal husbandry, and animal physiology. He has spent a period as a visiting professor at Cornell University in the United States. Dr. Towhidi joined the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Tehran in 2003 and was promoted to associate professor in 2009 and full professor in 2016. Over the past twenty years, he has held various positions including Director of Education and Graduate Studies, Director of Research and Industry Relations at the University College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Secretary of the Innovation System, advisor to the Vice President for Research and Technology at the University of Tehran in the field of extension, and an international consultant for the the University of Tehran  Foundation. He has served as a consultant to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, a member of the World Feed Federation's Food Innovation Working Group, an advisor to the Deputy for Livestock Affairs at the Ministry of Jihad Agriculture, a consultant to the Agricultural and Natural Resources Engineering Organization of Tehran, an inspector of the Iranian Animal Science Association, and the secretary of the Food Security Committee of the Alborz Elite Foundation. Dr. Mostafa Zamanyan is a Ph.D. graduate in management with a focus on decision-making and public policy from the University of Tehran. His dissertation was on designing appropriate strategies to deal with policy-making failures, which he successfully defended in 2017 with high distinction. Since 2004, he has been active in various levels and topics of organizational strategic planning and national policy-making. One of his main concerns has been the formation of a national academic system and a sectoral policy advisory network in various fields such as energy, culture, endowments and social affairs, and maritime industries.
His research areas include institutional mapping analysis, regulation, policy advisory systems, compilation of national development roadmaps, and the social sector and voluntary organizations. He is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Governance of Culture and Family at the Faculty of Governance at the University of Tehran.

 Dr. Mahdi Zarghami is currently a professor of water management at the University of Tehran. He received a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Sharif University of Technology in Tehran in 1998, a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from the Institute of Research on Planning and Management, Tehran, and a PhD in Water Management from Sharif University of Technology in 2007 under the supervision of Dr. Reza Ardakanian, former Iranian Minister of Energy. In his dissertation, he pioneered a revised uncertain operator for ranking water resources development projects in Iran. In 2006-2007, he was a visiting researcher at the Department of Systems and Industrial Engineering at the University of Arizona, where he worked with Professor Ferenc Szidarovszky. After completing his PhD, Mahdi accepted a faculty position at the University of Tabriz, where he worked for 16 years. During this time, he initiated the Water Diplomacy Room as an NGO and the Institute of Environment. During this time, he worked by the Water Diplomacy Programme jointly run by Tufts-Harvard and MIT Universities in Boston in 2014-2015. He also worked at the MIT's Socio-Technical Systems Research Centre and Comprehensive Initiative on Technology Evaluation. In 2023, Mahdi accepted a professorship at the Faculty of Governance, University of Tehran, where he has been working ever since. During his time at the University of Tehran, Mahdi is the Deputy Dean of the Governance and Policy Lab at this university.
Mahdi's motivation is to set up fact-finding seminars to support joint decision-making on complex water issues. He has already implemented this idea as an advisor at the Iranian Ministry of Energy (2019) and as Director of the Iran Elites Foundation (2022-2024). He has also been involved in water diplomacy projects in the following basins: Lake Urmia, Hirmand, Hoor-Howaizah, Zayanderud, Nile, Jordan and others.

Dr. Fatemeh Zeynodini is a Ph.D. graduate in Law from University of Montreal, Canada. After earning her Bachelor's in Law and Master's degrees in Human Rights from the Faculty of Law, University of Tehran, she received her second Master's degree in International Business Law from University of Montreal. Her PhD thesis focused on family law from a comparative legal perspective. Upon returning to Iran, she completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Family Research Institute, Shahid Beheshti University's supported by a postdoctoral award from the Iranian National Elites Foundation. Continuing her research and teaching in the fields of family law and women's rights, Dr. Zeynodini has published several scientific articles in this field. Her successful participation in the National Elites Foundation's Young Faculty Members Program led her to start her academic career as a faculty member in the Family Governance Department at the Faculty of Governance, University of Tehran. Her research interests include socio-cultural governance, family-centered governance, women's and family rights, and governance and law. Dr. Zeynodini has participated in multiple international conferences on family law and engaged in international study opportunities, including a research fellow at the Max Planck Institute for private and comparative law in Hamburg, Germany, staying her at the edge of the latest developments in family law and related issues.

Dr. Niloofar Hashemi, ranking first in the national Ph.D entrance exam of  Political Sociology,  has defended her doctoral thesis, "Development and Environmental Discourses in Iran after the Islamic Revolution: In Search of Resilience," with an excellent grade.  She graduated from the National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents, Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, and Allameh Tabataba'i Universities. She spent her Visiting Research Fellowship at the Faculty of Sociology and Anthropology at the University of British Columbia (UBC) focusing on "Conflict Studies". Additionally, her master's thesis at the University of Tehran was centered on "Ecotourism and Sustainable Rural Development" in which she also won second place among the graduates of the master's degree.
Dr. Hashemi's academic portfolio includes the authorship of a book on the "Development of Citizens' Social Participation in Tehran", translation of the book "Wicked Problems, Social Messes", serving as a reviewer for Q1 journals, and publishing various ISI articles in the fields of the Environment, Development, Political Sociology, Data Mining, and Computational Social Sciences. In addition to receiving several awards from the National Elite Foundation, she has also served as a consultant to the Director-General of Cultural Policy and Planning at the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology and the Research Institute for Information and Communication Technology.

His doctoral dissertation, titled "Future Scenarios of Iranian Banks in the Face of FinTech," examined the experiences of 17 Iranian banks and was defended with highest honors, earning the World Future Day Award. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Innovation and Technology Governance Department at the Faculty of Governance, University of Tehran. Dr. Mohammad Habibpour is an assistant professor in the development and sustainability department of Tehran University's Faculty of Governance. He obtained his PhD in Economics from the University of Brussels, Belgium (VUB), and has experience in three post-doctoral periods as a research assistant at the Paris Sciences et Lettres University (PSL). Also, he has completed various study, research, and educational opportunities in the field of economics and research methods at the University of Pennsylvania (UPEN), the University of Essex (Essex), and the universities of Göttingen, Siegen, Philipps Marburg, and Kassel, in Germany. He has articles in journals such as Energy Economics, and Applied Economics, and also a chapter of a book in the field of energy economics published by MIT University Press. Dr. Seyyed Reza Nakhli holds a Ph.D. in economics with a focus on public sector economics and monetary economics from Isfahan University. His main research and teaching areas include public sector economics, public finance, smart tax systems, Tax Technologies, data-based economic governance, customs systems, risk management, economic sanctions, macroeconomics, Iranian economy, and Dynamic Stochastic General Equilibrium (DSGE) modeling. Dr. Alireza Mahanian holds a PhD in Information Technology Management, Business Intelligence (BI) from Tarbiat Modares University, and received his MBA and B.A. in Engineering from Sharif University of Technology. He selected his PhD thesis topic based on the country’s research priorities (Ministry of Petroleum), which was titled “Making Azadegan Oilfield, Intelligent” and defended it with an excellent ranking. The article resulting from the research is known as the most widely read article in the influential journal “Oil Research”. Given the interdisciplinary nature of his education and experience, he was also invited to conduct two major national research projects. He has authored and translated several books and written and presented dozens of articles in journals, conferences, and seminars in the fields of management, information technology, and governance. In addition to his research achievements, Dr. Mahanian has a long history of consulting to industry, including the oil, gas, petrochemical, banking and insurance, and information technology and telecom industries, in the areas of strategic planning, digital transformation, business intelligence, and governance.
