Dr. Saman Yousefvand is a Ph.D. graduate in Sociology from the University of Tehran. His master's thesis focused on "The Relationship between Local Subcultures and Participatory Development," and his doctoral dissertation was defended on "The Phenomenology of Developmental Interventions in Local Communities." Dr. Yousefvand is also the author of books such as "The Enigma of Poverty and Development: From Sleight of Hand to Realism" and "The Nature of Crisis and Society at Risk," and is currently in the process of publishing a book titled "Social Governance." He has a decade of policy research experience at the Research Center of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, where he has undertaken major projects on social governance. Numerous policy research articles and reports on social issues in Iran have been published by him, and he is currently working on a book on governance problem-solving methods. He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health and Welfare Governance at the Faculty of Governance, University of Tehran.
