Dr. Atiye Sarabi Jamab, a PhD graduate in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Control and Modeling of Complex Systems from the University of Tehran, in collaboration with the Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics at Ludwig Maximilian University in Germany. Her doctoral thesis was on "Decision-Making under Uncertainty," and during her PhD, she gained profound knowledge in areas related to cognitive neuroscience. After her PhD, she joined the school of cognitive science at the Institute for Research in Cognitive Sciences (IPM) for a postdoctoral fellowship and began her work in the field of behavioral and neurocognitive decision-making in individual and social contexts. Due to her education in electrical engineering during her PhD and her research activities in cognitive sciences during her postdoctoral and senior postdoctoral periods, she is familiar with the fundamentals of cognitive sciences, social cognition, statistical analyses, behavioral modeling, learning, and artificial intelligence. Additionally, she has taught at the Faculty of Behavioral Sciences and Mental Health at Iran University of Medical Sciences and the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Tehran. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public and Administrative Governance at the Faculty of Governance, University of Tehran.
