Dr. Ahmad Radmehr

Dr. Ahmad Radmehr, an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Governance, University of Tehran, holds a Ph.D. in Water Science and Engineering with a focus on Water Resources from the University of Tehran. Distinguished as an outstanding Ph.D. student at the University of Tehran and ranking first in the national master's entrance exam, he brings over 15 years of practical experience in the management and engineering of water resources and environmental systems.
He earned his Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral degrees in Water Resources from the University of Tehran. Dr. Radmehr has focused on conducting applied research related to water resources management. His doctoral dissertation, addressing the need for applied research in local water governance, titled "Providing a Conceptual and Analytical Framework for Sustainable Development Strategies in Agricultural Water Management," was defended with distinction.
His master's thesis, which developed decision support systems for urban flood management as a research project commissioned by the Iran Water Resources Management Company, was also defended with distinction. Dr. Radmehr has published numerous articles in prestigious national and international journals with Q1 ratings, including those from NATURE, ASCE, and SPRINGER.
His research areas include collaborative water governance, optimization and simulation of water and environmental systems, conflict resolution and social choice methods, decision support systems, sustainable development, and environmental policy-making. With practical and executive experiences in the water industry sector, including managing and directing national-scale water resource management projects and international activities with development banks like the World Bank, Dr. Radmehr has experiences in different work environments including academia, industry, and non-profit organizations.
