Dr. Mohammad Habibpour
Dr. Mohammad Habibpour is an assistant professor in the development and sustainability department of Tehran University's Faculty of Governance. He obtained his PhD in Economics from the University of Brussels, Belgium (VUB), and has experience in three post-doctoral periods as a research assistant at the Paris Sciences et Lettres University (PSL). Also, he has completed various study, research, and educational opportunities in the field of economics and research methods at the University of Pennsylvania (UPEN), the University of Essex (Essex), and the universities of Göttingen, Siegen, Philipps Marburg, and Kassel, in Germany. He has articles in journals such as Energy Economics, and Applied Economics, and also a chapter of a book in the field of energy economics published by MIT University Press. The topic of his doctoral dissertation is the private provision of public goods. His specialized fields are in modeling and econometrics, third-sector economics, and development economics. He is interested in the interaction of research in economics with other social sciences, the use of advanced modeling, and artificial intelligence applications in the analysis of economic and social issues to provide practical and knowledge-based solutions for the lower social classes.
