Dr. Mostafa Zamanian holds a PhD in Management with a focus on decision-making and public policy from the University of Tehran. The topic of his thesis is designing appropriate strategies in the face of policy failures, which he successfully defended with honors in 2017.
Since 2004, he has been active in various levels and topics of organizational strategic planning and national policymaking. One of his main concerns has been shaping the national think tank system and sectoral policy advisory network in various fields such as energy, culture, endowments and social affairs, as well as maritime industries.
His research areas include:

- Compilation of national development documents
- Social sector and voluntary organizations
He is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Culture and Family Governance, Faculty of Governance, University of Tehran.
