Dr. Saeed Samiie is a graduate of the University of Tehran with a bachelor's and master's degree in public administration and a doctorate in futures studies. His doctoral thesis in futures studies entitled "Explanation of the phenomenon of surprise using the concept of intentionality" was defended with honors at the Faculty of Management using an interdisciplinary and multi-level approach to understanding the phenomenon of surprise. With a problem-oriented perspective and the use of quantitative and qualitative research approaches and computational social science concepts, he has prepared and compiled numerous projects for the country's decision-making centers. Since 2018, Dr. Samiie has taught courses such as research methodology, management statistics, futures methods, budgeting, and micro and macroeconomics for management students at the University of Tehran. He is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Futures Studies at the Faculty of Governance, University of Tehran.
