Dr. Mohammad Ismail Abdollahi

Dr. Mohammad Ismail Abdollahi holds a PhD in Islamic Sufism and Mysticism from the University, a 4th-level degree in Islamic Theology, and holds a degree in Jurisprudence and Principles from the Qom Seminary. The topic of his doctoral thesis is “A Systematic Approach to Islamic Social Mysticism with Emphasis on the Mystical Thought of Imam Khomeini (RA), which was defended with honors. He is the holder of the Gold Medal for Research and Technology, the title of the country’s successful student, an excellent educational rank in academic courses at the seminary and university, 20 years of teaching experience in seminary and university centers, 18 years of executive activity in scientific centers, 5 titles of Iran’s National Distinguished Researcher, 14 titles of provincial and seminary distinguished researchers, and the establishment and launch of several scientific centers. He has 30 scientific research articles, 10 specialized books in the field of governance and social theology of Islam, written scientific licenses from seminary scholars, and licenses for research and teaching in higher mystical and rational sciences from contemporary mystic scholars and philosophers. It is worth noting that his books, "Self-Made Awnings of Modern Mysticism" and "Comprehensive Research on Sectarian Sufism," have been published several times. "The Light of Faith and Reason in Governance," which deals with strategic planning for the establishment and development of governance schools in Iran, is among his most recent works. He is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Governance, Culture and Family, Faculty of Governance, University of Tehran.
