Dr. Seyed Reza Nakhli holds a PhD in Economics in the field of Public Sector Economics and Monetary Economics from the University of Isfahan. His main research and teaching areas are Public Sector Economics, Public Finance, Smart Tax System, Tax Technologies (Tax-Tech), Data-Based Governance, Customs System, Risk Management, Economic Sanctions, Macroeconomics, Iranian Economy, and Economic Modeling (DSGE), which resulted in more than 13 scientific articles, 3 books, 1 international project, 4 national projects, and more than 50 organizational and national strategic reports. The title of his doctoral thesis was "Assessing the Effects of Economic Sanctions on Macroeconomic Variables Using the DSGE Method," and the compilation of 4 Latin articles (domestic, SCOPUS Q2, JCR Q1, and JCR Q2) is one of its outputs. In the field of refereeing scientific works, he has refereed several domestic and international journals such as Resources Policy (JCR Q1- IF=10.33) from ELSEVIER International Publishing, Tarbiat Modares University Economic Research Journal, Defense Economics and Sustainable Development of the National Defense University, etc. In the scientific-executive dimension, he has been an advisor to the Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance, a member of the Secretariat of Development Projects of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance, an economic advisor to the head of the International Law Affairs Center of the Legal Vice-President, a member of the Research and Technology Council of the Customs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, a secretary of the Program and Budget Group of the Research and Information Center of the Parliamentary Vice-President, a secretary of the Specialized Working Group on Financial Resources and Resistance Economy of the Food Security Program Office of the Ministry of Defense, a director of the Iranian Economic Modeling Office of Imam Sadegh University, a director of the Agricultural Economics Desk of the National Defense University, a director of the Tax System Reform Committee of the National Project for the Compilation of Proposed Programs of the Seventh Development Program of the National Defense University, and a researcher in the Program and Budget Group of the Research Center of the Islamic Consultative Assembly. He is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Economic Governance of the Faculty of Governance of the University of Tehran.
