Dr. Masoud Banafi
Dr. Masoud Banafi is a graduate of the Department of Public Administration, with a major in Decision Making and Public Policy from the University of Tehran. He completed his doctoral thesis entitled “Understanding the Mechanisms of International Indicators in Guiding and Controlling the Governance System: Towards Designing a Framework for Informed Confrontation in the Islamic Republic of Iran” at the University of Tehran and the University of Surrey, England, as a study opportunity. Writing scientific research articles, compiling books, conducting numerous research projects, teaching in undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral courses, supervising and reviewing master’s theses, collaborating in the establishment of the Iranian Public Administration Association and the Iranian Public Administration Studies Quarterly, collaborating with the Research Center of the Islamic Consultative Assembly and a number of ministries of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and reviewing articles in numerous quarterlies have been part of his scientific and executive activities. His areas of study are “Governance”, “Public Management”, “Public Policy Making”, “Indicator Studies in Governance”, “Evaluation Centers”, and “Intellectual Property”. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Administration, Faculty of Governance, University of Tehran.
